This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your GMC dealer.
There have been several complaints about A/C condensers failing, but GM won't pay for the problem.

The AC unit was blowing hot air. I refilled it. It blew cold air for 3 days. Started the truck on the fourth day and it was blowing hot air again.

Hot New Jersey summer blowing warm air out of AC vents. Took to dealership stated truck needed new AC condenser and was not covered under warranty, past 36k miles.
I called GMC hotline after researching online this is a known manufacturer defect, bad weld on front of condenser drivers side top right face of condenser advised GMC hotline service rep know this.
Took 2-more days and they offered to split costs, I politely refused, left truck at dealer and waited 1-more day than GM decided to replace condenser no charge. Works fine after new condenser was installed
