The pick-up has a rough idle when hot. No error code but definitely shaky at low rpm. Dealer can't do anything because the is no code!!!

motor idling problem, seem like it has bad gas or spark plug problem, hard shake and idle problem while sitting still.

Bought vehicle as a trade from the 2015 Canyon. Dealer drove vehicle from out of State. At an idle the rpm needle would move. Technicians said it was a new vehicle and the higher altitude and fuel in Colorado was cause. Vehicle had 400 miles on it when I first got it. Vehicle has about 7,000 miles and still idles rough while rpm gauge moves. Service Manager said I am using the wrong fuel and that the injectors misfired. The reset the code to which I have never had a light come on to begin with. Costed over $100 for repairs, still idles rough.

Like a few others, purchased brand new $65k+ Sierra 1500 Ultimate Denali with extremely annoying and frustrating vibration at idle, regardless of engine temperature and ambient temperature. I am running a 6.2L with auto transmission....all the bells and whistles. First noticed the vibration at delivery January 2017, but dismissed it as cheap gas the dealer provided and the cold winter temperatures. After about 1k miles tolerance for the vibration reached its peak. I took to the dealer, to which they quickly dismissed since it was not throwing a code or misfiring. They even did a vibration test using a meter and said it was the truck's designed harmonics I was feeling. Total BS...I have a had few brand new trucks in my life...none had this "designed" shutter/shiver. I took the truck to a different dealer at 3k miles. They too noticed the vibration, but since was not throwing a code, unable to fix. This new dealership even went as far as pulling in exact copy of my truck from their lot (only had 3 miles on it) and showed me that truck vibrated as well. I guess it really is a design issue. Needless to say, I am voicing my opinion to GM and will never buy another vehicle from them again. BTW...anyone want to buy my truck? :)

I have a 2017 GMC All Terrain X Edition 4x4 w/the 6.2l engine. This truck was 55k out-the-door. While at idle, the engine stumbles/misses every 4 to 5 seconds. It's slight, but no new 50k plus car should run like that. It's annoying and I think going to increase engine wear. Took it to the dealer who said "that's just the way they are," caused be the electronics trying to squeeze the engine for max fuel economy. I call "BS!" I'll take this car to several different dealers. Hopefully they'll fix it. If not, I'm suing under the Lemon Law and never buying another GM vehicle.

2017 GMC JUNK. 150 miles on a $46,000 truck that runs like it is on it's last leg. engine bucks, misses, jerks when a load is on the motor between RPM range of 1200 and 1600 . GM has no fix for the problem more or less told me to live with it. not the right answer if they can't fix it I ought to at least get a new truck or my money back and I will go buy a different brand.

Truck runs like crap! under load, up hills and on the flat it skips and bucks feels like it is missing 2 cylinders. traded in a 2012 with 120k that was overall a much better truck.
dealer says its a known problem no current fix??
transmission shifts are rough and random.

Engine idles rough at stops. Sometimes I noticed on take offs. Having it diagnosed next week.
The repair shop believes it is caused by the V8 to V4 fuel efficiency system. TBD.
