Sierra 1500 Denali 6.2L V8

Well the new multi pro tail gate broke. It gets stuck half way down and feels like you are lifting the entire truck to close it back. Dropped it off at the dealer to get it looked at. They told me it would take at least 7 business days to just get the part.
