We took our first trip in our new truck. When traveling at night at the legal speed of 65 mph, we came up behind a car and truck pulling a trailer with another vehicle beside me. I touched brake to cancel cruise but it would not cancel. it was a blessing that an exit ramp was there and I took it to avoid hitting the other vehicles. I kept stomping the brake and fighting the steering wheel and just before i got to the end of the ramp the cruise cancelled.

The dealer could not duplicate the problem and GMC said they could not do anything. We have not used the cruise since the incident and do not intend to keep the truck. We were almost killed and no one seems to care.
