The contact owns a 2019 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated that while driving on three occasions and stopped, the vehicle started shaking abnormally. The check engine warning light was illuminated, and the message to "Check Parking Brake" was displayed. The contact engaged and disengaged the parking brake. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the lifers and cam shaft needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 74,000.

The contact owns a 2019 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated when he started the vehicle, the parking brake warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the computer was updated, but the failure reoccurred. On another occasion, while driving 70 MPH, the parking brake warning light and 4WD warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer again and the contact was informed that the actuator switch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the vehicle needed to be diagnosed. The failure mileage was 37,000.
