Sierra 1500

  • 44,741 miles
The contact owns a 2019 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated that the wheels on the vehicle were not what was listed in the description of the vehicle. The vehicles installed on the vehicle were 17-inch wheels instead of the 18-inch wheels listed as the original equipment for the vehicle. The contact was concerned that the difference between the OEM wheels and the wheels installed on the vehicle could cause ABS failures while driving the vehicle. The contact referenced NHTSA ID Number: 21V985000 (TIRES), but the VIN was not included in the recall. The dealer was not notified of the issue. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 44,741.
