I have owned my 2001 GMC Sierra 2500hd truck since it was new. The vehicle currently has approximately 92,000 miles on it. During the time I have owned it, it has had a problem with the exhaust manifolds coming loose, due to loosing studs, broken studs or the studs just falling out. The two dealerships have repaired this problem four or five times while under warranty and the problem has occurred again. I have never seen this kind of problem on any other vehicle that I have owned and I have owned many vehicles. The danger that this problem creates is the possibility of fire and carbon monoxide in the cab of the truck. GM/the dealerships refuse to address this issue, so I am forced to turn it over to you.
