I left my vehicle for service (19 April 2023 - approximately 8:30 am CT) for an urgent safety recall to Bommarito West County GMC dealership located at 15736 Manchester, Ellisville, MO 63011 (Phone: 636-391-7200). When I drove the vehicle in the dealership and had not issues driving and steering. And when I picked it up at approximately 12:30 pm the same day the service consultant (Joshua Delanoix) did not bring the vehicle to me the same as I left it. Joshua asked that I pick it up in the parking lot, instead. I drove off the lot and noticed that the steering wheel would pull severely off to the right side when breaking causing the car to become unstable and steering towards oncoming traffic. I slowed down until I could retain better control of the vehicle to get home. Then, at approximately 4:30 pm, I drove back to the dealership and spoke to the same service consultant. He then referred me to the service manager (Pat Roberts). I explained to service manager that I could not drive the vehicle safely and requested a safety check. Pat refused to check the service work or the vehicle safety and disregarded my concerns. Afterwards, I spoke to the sales manager (Larry Buchhorn) and explained again my safety concern and he followed up with the same service manager and told me that there was nothing they could do and that the service manager's supervisor (Mike Simms) would contact me. Finally, I was allowed to drive out of the dealership with the same safety issue for the second time.

My truck has a defective dash that has cracked in multiple places for no reason and no rough treatment or anythig that would cause it to break, it cracked and broke all on its own... and GMC should be responsible for replacing because it is a safety hazard. This is a defect happening to thousands of these trucks and all the cracks and breaks and in the same exact spots which would seem to be a manufacturer defect not a consumer issue...if I were to get into an accident the defective broken dash could seriously injure someone. My truck is also part of the takata recall and I can not go in to get the air bag fixed because it will further break my dash. This dash issue is a major safety issue that needs to be addressed and a recall needs to be made for this issue

Takata recall dealer sent recall letter in 2015 went to dealer 3 times over time, no parts available. Called GMC gave them same info. There answer this message is being recorded explained went to dealer no parts there reply to me bottom line, do not have any passengers in vehicle or replace parts at my expense. This is unexceptable they have parts for new vehicles being built this is unacceptable for every new car built they should replace one on recall or stop production on new vehicles. Cheaper to pay death of person than fix problem. Thank you

Takata recall. There is an open recall on the vehicle's passenger side airbag. The recall has been active for well over a year and remains in 'incomplete' status. This recall is not being addressed in a timely manner. Given the severity of the damage/injury/death that can occur as a result of the faulty airbag, this delay is unacceptable. I have contacted the GMC dealership in Liberty lake, wa, george gee, and they have merely reiterated that a fix is not yet available for recall. Furthermore, I have never received correspondence from the manufacturer notifying me of the recall or its status.

Takata recall: I received a safety recall notice in July of 2015 regarding the front passenger airbag inflator. Recall #15438. I have had my vehicle in to the dealer multiple times and am still being told that there is "no remedy" for this recall. I am concerned for the safety and well being of the vehicle occupants should this vehicle be involved in an accident and the airbags deployed. It has been over 17 months and this safety concern is effecting my use of this vehicle. It is currently my only vehicle and it is imperative that I be able to utilize it on a daily basis without fear of serious consequences should there be an accident. Yesterday the dealer advised me to turn off the passenger side airbag if there is a switch allowing me to do that. I believe that action also puts the vehicle occupants at risk and is not a satisfactory remedy.

NHTSA recall number: Opens new window takes away from VIN lookup section> 15V324 recall date: May 28, 2015 manufacturer recall number: N150817. Some front passenger airbag inflators may experience an alteration over time, which could lead to overaggressive combustion in the event of an air bag deployment. This condition could create excessive internal pressure when the air bag is deployed, which could result in the body of the inflator rupturing upon deployment. Safety risk: In the event of an inflator rupture, metal fragments could pass through the air bag cushion material, which may result in injury or death to vehicle occupants. Remedy: Dealers will replace the front passenger air bag inflator, free of charge. Recall status: Recall incomplete. Remedy not yet available 1.5 years later and still no remedy available" is this one part of the takata recall that I just saw on the nbc news"
