August 19, 2016 truck was in an accident when the vehicle went out of control.. a bracket on the left front of the truck broke and there appeared to be a crack on it. We believe the accident was caused by the bracket braking and then made it so that we could not control the vehicle

Sierra 2500 8-cyl Diesel

I have a 2007 GMC Sierra 2500 hd crew cab slt pickup 4D 6 ft., purchased new in O7, with about 70,000 miles on it. I just had the right front axle come apart. It seems the rubber boot and two metal bands that clamp the boot onto both parts of the axle hold the axle together.
