The contact owns a 2008 GMC Sierra 2500. The side mirrors fail to automatically tilt downwards when the vehicle is placed into reverse. The component is a safety option on the vehicle. GM stated that they did not have a program to repair this failure. The current mileage was 23,000 and failure mileage was 5. updated 06/09/08
