GM knows there is an issue with them using the wrong wires on the heater in the DEF tank. The DEF fluid eats them because the truck thinks it is out of DEF fluid when it is full. Tank must be replaced or truck must be deleted at a cost of $9000.00. GM should recall all the tanks and fix the trucks.

Vehicle cost 90k... At 21,000 I was without the truck to repair the DEF system and that cost was $9,800, per the dip s** working at the GMC dealership. That was covered under warranty - however, I had to go without my work truck for couple weeks.
Now at 72,000 miles this piece of s
* is stuck in "limp" mode - meaning I cannot drive the speed limit. I have reached out to multiple dealerships but even the dealerships are overwhelmed with fixing these factory installed problems. The soonest I can get the truck into a nearby towns dealership is the day before Thanksgiving. Thanks to GMC, we will not be seeing family this year. Also because I cannot use the truck I am experiencing a loss of productivity, but hey... those fs in Detroit got my money, so what do they care! It's sad that the the auto industry in the United States really could care less about the junk they are pushing out of their factories. I long for Toyota to release stateside a more powerful more dependable truck
GMC will absolutely not stand behind their product. What exactly are the Detroit engineers paid for?
GMC IS GARBAGE AND I WILL TELL EVERY FARMER, RANCHER, CONSTRUCTION WORKER, CONTRACTOR - hell, everyone, not to ever purchase a GM Vehicle!
