When switch above steering wheel is fully depressed (which according to user manual should activate the flashing lights) nothing happens plus the turn signals operate normally (note that turn signals should not work when flashers are on). When switch above steering wheel is in the up position(which according to user manual should de-activate the flashing lights) the turn signals do not operate plus when the brake pedal is depressed the hazard light come on but are solid, not blinking. (I may be interpreting the user manual incorrectly concerning the on/off switch position). I think I introduced the problem when probing the trailer wiring harness to determine what pins provided what function and accidentally shorted a turn/stop circuit. All functions except the hazard warning lights were restored by replacing the turn signal fuse in the small fuse panel to the left side of the dash and the stop light fuse in the box in the engine compartment. ANY HELP YOU CAN PROVIDE WILL BE APPRECIATED. Thanks for your assistance.
