This vehicle has had numerous electrical issue from the first few months of ownership. The trailer brake system failed and was replaced on October 2014. The vehicle has had many recalls that have been corrected by owner and service provider. The second summer of ownership the vehicle had radiator issues, and most recently electrical issues again and transmission issues. While driving the vehicle electrical dashboard goes into a flicker and shuts down. GMC was able to fix this issue at the owners cost with the vehicle being out of service for 3 weeks. GMC was to reimburse the owner for costs of a GM dealer that was not able to fix the issue (painter automotive)(February 9, 2017) of $300, this has not been reimbursed. The vehicle is now at the service station as it does not start with no codes. It has been out of service for 2 weeks and counting, this vehicle is no longer reliable or safe for us to drive. We have documentation of all the issues and video of the dashboard flicker.

The contact owns a 2015 GMC Sierra 3500. The contact stated that a snow plow was installed by a dealer however, after the installation, the instrument panel was dim and the headlights failed to illuminate. The technician uninstalled the snow plow and the vehicle resumed to function as normal. The technician then reinstalled the snow plow a second time but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 10,000.
