This addresses the failure of the seat tilt adjustment lever due to a structurally mounting shaft.
This was a poor GM design where the shaft strength was removed from lever mounting shaft by making cross hatching cuts to end of the shaft which removed the material strength of the shaft and the shaft failed structurally.
Eventually the shaft fractures and the lever falls off the shaft.
