1996 GMC Suburban 454 4x4 3/4 ton - Runs Smooth when I first start the engine - After it warms up it develops a miss at idle. When I accelerate thru the gears it cleans up - then the miss return at an idle. The miss also occurs at partial throtle..

These Suburbans are known to have fuel pressure regulators that leak and dump excess fuel into the intake manifold causing your engine to flood and not start.
The repair is fairly simple only problem is getting to the regulator requires you to take the upper section of the intake manifold off which is a real battle.
