The contact owns a 2010 GMC Terrain. The contact was driving approximately 40 mph and noticed that the entire instrument panel and speedometer became inoperable. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign id number 09V489000 (visibility) but was advised that the VIN was ineligible for repairs under the recall campaign. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnosis and the contact was informed that the instrument panel would need to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 52,000....updated 04/25/13 updated 05/14/2013
