On Feb 10, 2020 I was involved in a side impact crash when a large truck failed to stop at a red light. I took the vehicle in for repairs as the front quarter panel and wheel were damaged. The collision shop called today and stated that all four of my impact sensors are "dead". he said I was very lucky because there is no way I would've known that my airbags wouldn't have deployed and I very likely would've been seriously injured or killed. There was no warning light on the dash, and no code. They found it by accident on a more intensive diagnostic. This is scary because how many other 2012 Terrain owners won't know until one of their loved ones are injured or killed!"!" you need to do something about this. I got lucky but you have now 23 complaints about these bags not deploying. Please do something!!!

The contact owns a 2012 GMC Terrain. The contact stated that rain entered the vehicle and soaked the driver and passenger side floor. The vehicle was taken to penske Buick GMC of cerritos (18400 studebaker rd, cerritos, ca 90703), but they were unable to diagnose where the rain was entering. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 86,644.

To whom it may concern: Please note that I have observed my vehicle a profound amount of water entering the vehicle somewhere within, at, or in vicinity of the front passenger side of the vehicle and driver's side (front). This occurs during rain-fall. My vehicle began displaying an odor and showing white-yellowish colored matter in the carpet area. The water is now developed into a puddle on the passenger - side and carpet soaked on the driver's side (the lost of footing on the driver's side, makes it sometimes difficult when driving, and shifting my foot from the accelerator to (and) braking (to steer, and performing turning maneuvers). I have researched and noted several consumer chat pages, in which consumers have discussions experiencing the problem of water leaking into their GMC Terrain, and other GMC vehicles.

My granddaughter and I were parked outside a grocery store. We came out with several bags and my granddaughter opened the back lift gate. It went up and then came back down again. It didn't stay up. I tried to open it again with my key and it did the same thing. Went up, hesitated and came back down again. I stopped opening the gate and put bags inside. I took her home then drove home myself. I showed my husband what the back gate was doing. I called the Ford dealer I bought my Terrain from last year (February 2017) and got appointment for service today. The Ford service called the Chevrolet service and referred me to them for service. I took the car to the Chevrolet dealer who checked if my car was on any recall, she said the VIN was not included in any recalls, but we bought an extended warranty which may cover the costs. However, I have to pay the first $200 of any service repairs. I don't believe the back gate should stop working when the rest of my car works fine. Is there anything I can do to get help to repair my car's back gate?

When trying to open the rear liftgate the door will open completely then quickly close halfway, open completely again, then quickly close shut making it impossible to safely put anything into or remove from the trunk of the car. There is a recall for this issue on the acadia's already.

We had begun to cross an intersection and, while our speed was from a dead stop, the other driver blew through a red light and hit us at what was probably the speed limit of 40mph. Her car struck us in the right front passenger side and again on the rear passenger side. We, myself who was driving, and my wife, who was the passenger on the side hit, were both thrown hard to the right at impact, causing injuries to us both, most notably, my wife. She hit her head very hard on either the passenger door frame or the passenger window. No airbags deployed. No side airbags, no front airbags. No air bags deployed!

"on April 16th our son was driving on fairview rd. And traveling through a green light when a car that ran a red light hit him. ?his car ? a GMC 2012 Terrain was hit multiple times ? driver's front end, front end and spun around from the force and hit on the passenger side. No airbags deployed ?[xxx] was immediately contacted by on star, they called police, his car was totaled ?on 4/21 I emailed GMC and asked what department I would contact to file a complaint about the front and side airbags not deploying call from GMC 866-790-5700 ext. 22745 said on voice mail ? the airbag did not deploy as it should have" he made a case number [xxx] GMC has since declared this was a low threshold event - no need for airbag deployment - yet the car was totaled and our son has whiplash and contusions information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
