The Bluetooth in the vehicle was no longer available. It seemed to stop broadcasting. The internet fix was to 're-pair my device' but that was hooey! There was no longer any Bluetooth signal coming from the vehicle so 'my device' didn't even know it was there. After seeing that replacing a drained batter may fix the problem, I decided to go for the interior fuse box instead. It worked like a charm!

1.) First I removed fuse 9 (radio). 2.) Started the vehicle and found the display was black. Shut off the vehicle and reinstalled the same fuse back into slot 9. {I checked the fuse while I had it out and it was fine.} 3.) Started the vehicle and found the display working. Waited 10 seconds and checked my device to see if it could find the vehicle. No luck. 4.) Shut the vehicle off, removed fuse #36 (Data Link Connection). Waited a few seconds, turned on the vehicle and simply turned it off again to reset without the fuse. I didn't know how to tell if I had successfully terminated the data link, so I just hoped it reset. 5.) The fuse was fine that I had removed, so I just plugged it back in to slot 36. Viola. When I turned the vehicle on and gave it 10-20 seconds to reset, my device was able to see the Bluetooth in the vehicle and I was able to pair it successfully.

I repaired it about a week ago and it seems to be back to normal. If I have any subsequent issues, I'll come back and report! DO NOT take your vehicle to the dealer for loss of Bluetooth signal until you try the fuse fix!
