When in car the radio/navigation backup camera cut off about every 3 minutes. I have contacted dealership. I have found that this is a common problem by doing online research. There is no fix according to all accounts but also no recall. There is NO aftermarket radio that will fit in this vehicle, so I have to buy new one from dealership. $1400. When I contacted dealership, the parts guy said he would contact GMC to find out if there was a trade in program.

That was 3 days ago and no word back. Called again today and was told he was at lunch and would return my call. It didn’t happen! If they can refurbish radio, why can’t problem be fixed? Very unhappy with GMC!

Radio stopped functioning on August 26th. There was no volume, I could not change the stations by steering wheel or touch. The Bluetooth would not work. The dash lights would not turn off and remained on the entire evening. I called GMC support and they said to unplug the battery, but I did not do so as I didn’t want to mess anything up. I took the car in to the dealership the following day. I was told they see this issue often and by unplugging and resetting the battery, it will fix the issue. Problem resolved.
