I was so excited to buy my first car!!!! I found a 2015 GMC Terrain and loved the look of it and the thought of buying American Made. During the summer of 2020... just after the COVID shut down... my car wouldn't start when I went to run a quick errand. Got it towed to our local car guy and found out that the timing chain busted and the engine seized up at 52,000 miles. I still owed over $5,000.00 on it! I was told it would cost $5,200 to get the engine replaced. Had it towed back to my garage and it's been sitting in there for 2 years. I have 2 more car payments left on a car I haven't been able to drive for 2 years. The worst investment I have ever made and I will never buy a GMC or a Chevy again!!!

THE LUCK WITH THE LEMON GMC CONTINUES. TIMING CHAIN WENT OUT BEFORE 130000 MILES. WHY IS THERE NOT A RECALL ON THE PIECE OF SH*T VEHICLE???????

GMC Terrain. For over a year the whole dash electronics have not worked, no radio, no ability to charge phone etc. Check engine light came on this date and prior to reaching home the car started jerking, and a light came on that stated low engine function, so I rolled it into drive. Mechanic says timing failed and oil looked like mud, yet consistent oil changes are performed. Whole engine has to be replaced. We have replaced head lights twice since it was bought with 75,000 miles on it in 2018. Windshield wipers mech had to be replaced twice. This is just an absolute disgrace.
