Got my wife a 2017 GMC TERRAIN SLE 2.4L AWD. A couple week ago 8/26/22, my wife's car wouldn't start and I had to get it towed to my house after figuring out what was wrong with it. I had to replace the high pressure fuel pump located in the engine bay, so I went and replaced it and tried to get the car started. I found out it would crank but would not start. I made sure there was fuel and spark going to the cylinders, checked everything and all of it looked good. I decided to check the timing chain and camshaft sprocket to see if it was out of time or something. I looked over and there was a broken rocker just chilling next to the valve. Found out the whole intake side was broken - if I would have found this out before we purchased the vehicle, we would never have gotten it. I'm getting very disappointed in GMC - this will be the last GMC we are gonna own.
