Since I bought this car the infotainment system will randomly crash and restart. Generally, this will happen when I first start up the car in the morning, or, if I have only driven it for a few minutes it will happen after a second start. Master Buick GMC here in Augusta, Georgia refuses to fix the problem.
I brought my car in about 8-9 times over the past years. I emailed the owner Kathy and the service manager and neither of them ever has followed up with me. They keep telling me to bring my car in and then without me getting a loaner. Every time I take the car in, they say they cannot duplicate the problem and there are no error codes, so there is nothing that they can do. Bull! This problem has been occurring since day one, especially as the weather gets cold. I know it sounds weird, however, in the wintertime this problem occurs more often, especially in the mornings. I have checked the fuses, I have done restarts and resets, etc. I have a USB flash drive plugged into the media slot and it seems it also happens more frequently when the flash drive is inserted.
After the infotainment system crashes/restarts then the radio and flash drive will play simultaneously, the GPS will not work, the outside temperature doesn't show/doesn't work, the climate control is off (it works), but the indicator doesn't indicate the fan speed level. The radio sometimes will play with ignition off, car locked and me inside my home with my keys; the radio will still play. I have provided Master Buick GMC here in Augusta with a video and stopped there in person two times to show them the problem. They had a mechanic come out, only to tell me to schedule the car for service and then again they tell me they cannot duplicate the problem.
GM sucks. They don't give a darn. I will never buy a car from them again.
