Right front running light on my 2000 GMC Yukon does not light. I see the same problem on many GMC and Chevrolet trucks and SUVS. The problem may appear in a high percentage of these vehicles. When I remove the housing for the light it usually holds water from rain or car washes. There is a hole in the housing which looks like it was poked with a screwdriver. A new bulb will only last for 100 miles or so, then it will short out.
