problem #3

Yukon SLT 5.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 129,000 miles

I bought this YUKON from original owner in Dec, 2008. It has been a decent vehicle BUT I have replaced the heater/AC blower motor 4 times. The last repair was by a different mechanic who THOUGHT he had the fix. YEA, right, Well, he repaired at no charge, since he mentioned it was guaranteed. Lasted 8 months, dead again! Where do I go from here???????? I am NOT an electrician or a mechanic. I am the only one in family qualified to shoot an M16 , 155MM howitzer & other stuff. I don't know what a resister is !!! But this problem is getting to be a BIG PIA !!!

Last mechanic said it was a small diameter wire that continues to burn out because it needs more juice. WTF do I know.

Sincerely

This is a problem because of defrosting issues during the winter and during cold weather.

Yukon SLT 5.8L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 45,000 miles

The heater in the rear of the truck will not blow warm air. Noticed this problem during the fall of 2006, the blower works, and I can control the fan from the front and 2nd row controls but I still have no heat.
