Way to only send recalls to some of the people that own this junker. so I had to pay for my own since the limited recall had run out.... Glad u got to save a few bucks!!! I will next time too when I don't buy a gmc

I originally took the vehicle to the dealer for check engine and gas gauge issues and was told it would cost $800 to replace the fuel pump. I was instructed to try using ethanol free gas and the gauge started working properly. I had to use 10% ethanol gas on the 25th of December 2010 because the ethanol free station was closed and on the 26th of December the speed, odometer and gas gauges all quit working. I have the entire dash issue now and can't afford to pay the $800 for the fuel pump and $600 for the dash to have it repaired. So now I don't know how fast I'm going, if I have any fuel or how many miles I've driven in addition to lights informing me about my new tires and battery needing service! Is it Ethanol, faulty gauges, a bad fuel pump or GMC?

I heard that the dashboard cluster is an ongoing problem. Why doesn't GM stand behind their product and find a permanent fix for this??? I am upset about it, so I can't imagine if you went out and paid $40 to $50 K for and automobile and kept having this issue how ticked off you would be. Call me crazy, but I personally think that not being able to read your gauges is a definite road hazard!!! Just find a fix and recall them, people don't have the time to mess with this crap!!! Also, if I want to get it fixed, I have to have the dash pulled and it has to be sent in ....seriously!!! So I drive a car with absolutely not gauges on it....That's real safe!!! I am a single mother and really don't need another issue to deal with
