Never used the power folding mirrors, decided on a whim to try it and see how it worked. Kept hitting the button but nothing happened. I pulled out the manual the see if I was missing something, but after hitting the button about a dozen times the passenger side (grudgingly) folded in, but not the driver side.

After that I spent hours trying to get the mirror to go back out because I was afraid to force it back out manually (there was a lot of resistance, felt like something might snap). I checked all the fuses, switches, everything. Since I couldn't drive it like that I eventually got to the point that I didn't care if I broke it and forced it back out by hand. As far as I can tell I didn't break anything by doing that. I've read you can strip the gears that way, but since it didn't work to start with I can't say for sure.

From my research it sounds like this is a common problem as well. So many problems, seems like something new almost every week.
