Crack developed at edge of windshield at deicer strip. No apparrent cause such as rock damage. GMC will not cover this repair under warranty. My wife's 2015 Subaru outback received a warranty extension notice for this very defect stating that "during the mfg process certain compounds used to adhere the deicer to the windshield created a condition where the glass became more susceptible to cracking following a minor wound." I'm quite certain this defect is the problem with my Yukon. Is it possible that Subaru and GMC windshields are provided by the same sub-contractor?

When driving at highway speeds in the rain, water pools on the drivers side and passenger side door window at the bottom front of the window blocking the driver's view of either side view mirror. I went to the dealer in carson city nv, and service director stated they had this problem with trucks since 2007 and there has been no solution.
