The contact owns a 2015 GMC Yukon. The contact stated while driving 40 MPH, he had to depress the brake pedal with extra force to stop the vehicle. The contact stated that the brake assist warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to continue to drive to his destination. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic, where the repair was being performed. The contact called the local dealer and made them aware of the failure.
