Yukon LX

Had to have Yukon towed to dealership after steering wheel would turn but wheels would not, when steering wheel turned there was a bell sound. After dealership kept vehicle 2 weeks called told me they could not create the problem and I could come get the Yukon. Got into Yukon to drive off, steering wheel would turn but wheels would not. Called the maintenance guy and showed him the problem. They had to replace the steering column.

steering wheel stops working

Service power steering warning. First time was in July 2017, at 78,000 miles; the second was last year at 110,000; and the third, fourth, and now fifth occurrences in Nov 2019, at 138,000. All times car was taken to dealer, they never found anything. Now they changed cables & charged me $880 and I'm back to the dealer with the same problem, and outta work for 2 days (nyc limo driver - and this problem happened with passengers in the car more than once). When will the soap opera end? Maybe after I have an accident.
