This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your GMC dealer.
The dealer has attempted to fix the bucking/hesitating issue several times. It is still there. It started when the car was only two months old! The first time it went in, it only had 500 miles on it, 200 of which were on it when I got it as a "new" car. The entire computer and array had to be replaced at that time, because it all went black when I was driving it, alone, at night, in the rain, in a shady area of Miami-Dade County! No speedometer, no navigation, no lights! I limped it thirty miles home, they had to tow it to the dealer, and replaced all of the computer stuff. It did not fix the issue. It has been back for the hesitating, which jerked so hard it turned the radio on! They replaced the antenna. Still hesitating. They replaced the torque converter. Still. They replaced a solenoid. Still. I am fed up.This was my first ever new car! It is very nice to look at, but I hate it!

I BOUGHT THIS TRUCK BRAND NEW. IT IS A 2 WHEEL DRIVE. FROM THE FIRST WEEK OF USE I STAR TO FEEL A HESITATION IN THE TRANSMISSION AND THE TIRES JUMPING. AFTER 2 DIFFERENTS VISITS TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY SAID THE REPROGRAM THE TRANSMISSION AND THEY REPLACE THE 4 TIRES. I BROUGHT THE CAR ONCE AGAIN FOR THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEM. TIRES PROBLEM ARE FIX NOW WITH THE NEW ONES. THEY REPROGRAM THE TRANNY AGAIN. NOTHING CHANGE . LAST TIME I BROUGHT THE CAR TO SERVICE THEY SAID THEY HAVE TO REPLACE THE CONVERTER. AFTER 13 DAYS OF THE LAST VISIT THEY SAID THE REPLACEMENT OF THE CONVERTER WAS NOT NECCESARY AND THEY REPROGRAM THE TRANNY ONCE AGAIN. THEY CALL ME WHITH THE CAR READY AND NEXT DAY ON THE WAY TO KEY WEST I HAVE TO STOP IN THE DEALERSHIP WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. CAR IT IS STILL THERE. I OPEN A CASE WHITE GMC FOR SECOND TIME AND STILL WAITING FOR . I WANT MY TRUCK I DO NOT WANT TO REPLACE IT. IT IS ANYBODY IN THE UNITED STATES WHO HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE OR THE ANSWER FOR THE SOLUTION OF THIS PROBLEM? THANKS!!!!
Update from Jul 28, 2016: Finally after deal with the dealership in several ocassions and the malfunction denied for the service writer, the service manager, the service director, a rep from the factory and a discussion with the owner the General Sales Manager ( he was outstanding in the whole process) asking me to drive the car again but in this particular ocassion He brought the service director on board and in no more than 5 minutes they found out was a malfunction in the transmission converter. They replace it. Take me 4 months 6 visits to the dealership and a open case with the factory to resolve the problem. Now I have my truck fixed and it is running excellent.

I am really SICK of GMC and Kossman's Dealership in Cleveland Mississippi! Two weeks after purchasing this brand new SUV I noticed a severe hesitation in this SUV. I took it to the dealership, and was told nothing showed up on the computer! WTH? I told them I was not imaging things, so the next month I took it to the dealership due to the severe hesitation or "missing" when I applied the gas, was again told nothing showed up on the computer. I was told that GM was having some issues with the truck and it was not a problem. Month 3 and third trip to dealership for same problem, I was told nothing could be found, to bring it back when it did it again and maybe they could figure it out. Well on April 5, this SUV started "stuttering and shaking" I immediately drove it to the dealership and would not leave until a mechanic got in it and immediately he told me the "shutter" was the 8 shifter transmission and I had to have it replaced. That all 2015 Denali's had this defect and the transmissions were failing. I was so shocked, mad and wanted something done!! His dad owned a 2015 Sierra Denali truck, 14 trips to shop, and 3 transmissions later her traded the truck! Another Denali exactly like mine, same transmission issues, GM bought this vehicle back from dealership due to family being prominent in community.
I told them I did not want a 70,000 dollar SUV that was 4 months old that had to have a new transmission. Well guess what GM said they would put new transmission and it was my lemon to deal with!!
The Lemon Law in the state of Mississippi clearly states 3 trips and 15 days out of service for same problem in the first year of ownership is a LEMON! Well long story short, I am getting an attorney and we are going to just fight it out while I am stuck with a new SUV and the defective transmission design on the 2015 Denali's
DO NOT BUY THIS CAR OR TRUCK!!!! THE NEW TRANSMISSIONS DO NOT LAST AND GM IS NOT GOING TO ADMIT THEY MADE A LEMON OF A VEHICLE!! DENALI is supposed to mean luxury and top of the line, in this instance it means crap!!

A few days after I took delivery of my brand new vehicle, I have noticed that the car hesitates when I step on the gas specially when rolling from a stop at low engine rpm. Since I put 5000 Km on the odometer the issue had improved and the vehicle does not hesitate as much as it used to.

I have a new 2015 Yukon XL I had to purchase for my large family. My Yukon has a really bad lag or hesitation when you take off from a stop or making a rolling turn into traffic! It's concerning to me because if I need to move quickly out of the way, it may hesitate and cause an accident. I will be taking it in soon!

The transmission takes a varying 2-4 seconds to shift into reverse and sometimes with some loud noise [clanging]. The dealership doesn't think it's of concern. Also, Please explain to me why an LED tail light is not easily repairable and WHY THE ENTIRE ASSEMBLY HAS TO BE REPLACED FOR $800....JUST THE ASSEMBLY?! This 2015 Yukon GMC (Denali Pkg) has cost me a ridiculous amount of money to replace things that shouldn't be replaced with only 86K and less miles such as shocks at 76K. The radio decides not to work on a rare occasion, as well.
