I need AC and pay this kind of money for a Yukon to have a faulty item. I was told the cost to repair is $1800.

Same problem and part used in previous lawsuit covering only up to 2017.

2018 GMC Yukon Denali with 30,000 miles was 1 month out of the 3 year warranty (low mileage car) and the air conditioning stopped working. Cost $1,425 to replace. There were previous issues with GM condensers that prompted a lawsuit and an eventually extension of warranty. Love how they exclude 2018 from the settlement. I really enjoy driving GMC cars but the amount they break and don't do the right thing is going to drive me to other vehicles. Unbelievable!

GMC has known about this recurring problem with the Air Conditioning failing in many of their vehicles starting with their 2015 models. They all have the same problem where a faulty weld on the drivers side of the condenser leaks. GMC even put out a Special Coverage Adjustment on 2015-2017 model year Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL vehicles, which extends the warranty to 5 years/60k miles to cover this AC fix. Why is GMC not standing behind their product. These should have been recalled years ago! We, the consumer, should not be paying $1000-2000 for this fix!
