this yukon is leaking water into the cabin and mold has developed. i do not know when this issue started but i noticed the mold under the passenger rubber mat on 8/26/23. i contacted the local dealer, koon's gmc and they told me that they would charge me to just look at the car even though it is under a bumper to bumper 3 year warranty. the dealer was unable to locate the source of the leak, so nothing was fixed. i have been in touch with a gmc representative and she hasn't any useful information. the development of mold in the car is hazardous to our family and this should be looked into by the government.

On September 9th at approximately 5:00 pm, my wife and I left Augusta and headed to Atlanta to attend an event. While driving highway speeds of about 70-80mph, the vehicle began to decelerate rapidly and then shifted itself into neutral gear. Unable to shift back into drive, I was forced to maneuver my slowing vehicle onto the shoulder of the highway, placing myself and my wife in danger of colliding with the other vehicles who were still travelling at highway speeds. After pulling over onto the shoulder, I was able to shift the vehicle into park and turn it completely off. After a few minutes, I turned the vehicle back on and integrated back into traffic. Approximately 20 minutes later, the vehicle began to have trouble accelerating and I was unable to exceed 65mph on a highway where the speed limit was 70mph, and the other vehicles were exceeding that. My wife and I were sitting ducks in Atlanta traffic. I once again planned to pull the vehicle over when it suddenly made a loud noise and began to vibrate violently. From the far left lane, I found myself fighting with a vehicle that refused to accelerate and was now becoming uncontrollable. I managed to take the next exit, and parked the vehicle. After turning off the vehicle, I waited a few moments and tried to start it again. The vehicle did start, but continued to vibrate aggressively, as well as make loud clunking and squeaking sounds from under the hood. There was also a smell of something burning. For our safety, my wife and I exited the vehicle, as it had been rendered completely inoperable. I was forced to have the vehicle towed. The vehicle is currently at John Miles Chevrolet Buick GMC in Conyers, GA. (678)374-4695. The dealer has not confirmed the problem. No inspection has been done to date. When to vehicle shifted to neutral I believe the only warning light said "Conditions not correct for shifting". It only appeared when the vehicle shifted into neutral.

The heads up display starting with the 2022 model removed the colored lane departure warning from the sides of the road graphic that is in line with the road and moved it to a very small display to the left side of the driver's field of view. Now to see the lane departure warning requires a shift of the driver's view to the left and a head tilt if wearing progression bifocals. On prior year models the colored warning provided an early alert well before the seat vibrates as the warning. Taking my vision off the road caused me to come up on a very slow moving car that required the automatic braking to slow my vehicle
