This car is only 5 years old with 67,000 miles. It has been garaged kept and well maintained. It developed a deep throaty sound shortly after I had it in to the dealership for a recall procedure. Imagine my surprise to learn that the muffler was separating from the pipe coming from the engine. The technician that eventually dealt with it said the muffler was close to falling off. I have never had any accidents or done anything to this vehicle which could have caused such a problem. I was hoping the Genesis product would have been constructed with better quality but sadly, like so many other products, built to a finite lifespan so they can sell you another car. Doubt I'll get another Genesis after this experience.
