Despite the fact everyone has told me I'm an idiot for buying the car with a check engine light on, it has gotten 100,000 in its condition. If I could find 1 mechanic out of the 20 that could locate the plug in for the computer, we'd have an answer but it seems to be unlocatable leaving me begging for anyone's help. I am not sure if this is a collage of assorted problems or one in specifics, but...

It is difficult to start cold. Easier in the summer but embarrassing in the winter. It requires much gas during ignition. After I have heard a backfire from the engine we are set and ready to go. Unfortunately, not at a high rate of speed. I seem to experience problems when giving it too much gas while it is auto shifting. It will not pass to the next gear and sputters if i don't ease the gas. Also has the issue of not exceeding 76 mph. The same effect as previous but will never overcome the speed, just continues jerking and sputtering. Pretty sure this is not the general electrical problems as I have done repeated tune ups and changed the distrib. Also, the CAT and 02 sensor.
