So I got a Quote from Humboldt Automotive in Bellingham, WA for $250 maximum to fix the warped rotors. There is NOTHING wrong with my brakes. They told me that upfront. And then they proceed to rack up the billing, without asking me first. I got a message on my phone saying well we charged you $450 for everything since there were a few other things that needed to be fixed as well. There was a bolt that had to be machined out on the left side of the car rotors. I felt that it was a LARGE jump in the price from the estimate to the total. And I felt that they should have told me first before working on it and charging me that much! This is a ridiculous and I think that they are just taking advantage of me because I look young and I am a woman! They would NOT guarantee their work, as much as I asked them to. I told them Midas has tried to fix this multiple times and I have spent about $1500 at Midas trying to get this fixed! And they still told me that they WOULD NOT GUARANTEE THEIR SERVICE! I told them that if the rotors started to shake again in a few months that I would be back and they would be fixing it for free, to which they said, like we said, we can not guarantee our work! HUMBOLDT AUTOMOTIVE IN BELLINGHAM WA SUCKS!
