Just when I thought I had replaced all parts on this car, lo and behold multiple parts fail. Fan relay, condensor fan motor, fuel pump and fuel pump relay failed. Is it any wonder I no longer have this car? People, don't let other people tell you Hondas are great cars. Over my six years of ownership the car cost me over $6,000.00 to keep up. This was a clean title car that checked out great with a pre-purchase inspection. By contrast, my 1998 Toyota Celica with the same miles has cost me $1286.00 for four years, with roughly half of that amount spent on maintenance items like a timing belt and water pump. I've also had other Celicas that were the same as my 1998 in that they were very inexpensive to keep up. Our Camrys have been just as good as the Celicas. My experience with Hondas is that they continually have parts going bad and they are not cheap to fix. I wish I'd never bought this 1994 Honda Accord. This is not to say Toyota can't make a bad car; they just don't make as many of them as Honda and their parts are of a much higher quality which leads to much greater durability down the road.
