The SRS check light remained on. The owner's manual informed the consumer that the air bag may not deploy in an accident. Vehicle was repaired once, but the problem recurred. Recall campaign; NHTSA campaign id number : 96V217000 on the air bag failure. The vehicle had a recall on the air conditioning wire harness. NHTSA campaign id number : 98V231000. The consumer stated that the SRS light was on and was fixed by the service dealer.
