ITS A TINY HOLE UNDER THE CONSOLE THAT COVERS THE SHIFTER, TAKE A PAPER CLIP AND PUSH IT DOWN WHERE THE SWITCH IS (YOU CAN FEEL IT GIVE A LITTLE) THATS THE AUTOMATIC UNLOCKING MECHANISM FOR THE SHIFTER AND IT RESETS IT WHERE IT WONT LOCK UP ANYMORE!

i have bought honda cars since i can remember. I have also bought a honda motorcycle. After this problem, I have found so many others who have had Honda problems, that I will probably never buy honda again. It is a shame that a car brand once associated with quality, is turning out so many defective cars and not fixing the problems that were built into the cars. The transmission in my car was not meant to handle the power of the motor it came with. Shame on Honda!!!

AutoBeef is good and you should keep it up. I will recommend many people to Autobeef.
How can i get fault detecting machine that is handheld? I will be glad to get other Honda mechanical equipments because i want to get a workshop, so that Honda will rule Nigeria.
Thanks.

I start the car, but can't get it out of park. If I tap on the brake many times while holding the shift lock button, it will let me shift out of park. any ideas on what may be wrong. I am fairly handy mechanically.

Bought car at Repocast auction. Got it home and it has no second gear. Slips terribly. Cost to repair is more than I paid for the car. Thought Honda Accords had a great reputation and were highly rated. This is a disaster.
