1999 Honda Accord LX 4-door sedan vehicle has an unwarranted acceleration when driver tried to slow it down at an intersection. Specifically, the driver hit the brakes the vehicle accelerated instead of slowing down, the vehicle went off the road and hit a large tree. Police reported though the vehicle was in park, the brakes were still depressed and brake lights were still on before being towed away from the accident scene.
