i was pulling in to park my car in its usual spot at work, when my accelerator pedal stuck on me and caused me to crash my car into a railroad yard, which is next to our company. I had my brakes on the whole time and i actually continued to pick up speed until i eventually crashed into some railroad ties and fence. Both airbags deployed, thankfully, and i am o.k., except for some bruises on my right knee and my left shoulder.

I put the car into park and it continued to rev. very strange! it smelled like burning brakes while i lay on my car just shocked. the temp was around 12 deg, so it was cold. no problems ever with this car, and no signs at all driving in to work. i am very fortunate to be even alive right now, and more importantly, no one else was injured. this story must be spread around, for i have read other stories of sticky accelerators in cold weather. this crash totaled my car and almost totaled my life. thanks Honda!
