Transmission slips. There are only 92,000 miles on the car. Dealer advised that transmission needs to be replaced at a cost of $5200 for a new transmission. This is higly unusual for a car 5 years old with less than 100,000 miles especially given that Honda provided an extended warrantee on the same Accord in 2000-2001.

Consumer states that while driving at any speed and no warning the transmission will lock up and it will be hard for the consumer to control the vehicle and the consumer will be force to pull over. Dealer notified.
