I am surprised at the "Avoid like the plague" rating. I love my 1999 Accord. I have had to repair some things over the years, but what can you say for a 15 year old car with 170,000 miles that still runs and drives great and is reliable? How many 1999 vehicles do you still see on the road in comparison to the Honda Accord? Not many. I see cars like mine everywhere. Honda had to do something right, don't you think?

Sounds like crap and gets on my nerves. hard to tell if anything else is wrong with it.
