While applying the brake pedal, the vehicle failed to stop completely. The driver was able to maintain control of the vehicle and drove it to the dealer for inspection. The mechanic was unable to duplicate the problem at this time.

Vehicle experienced premature wear of rear brake pads. The consumer was informed by a highly reputable Honda Agency that Honda does have brake problems because of an inadequate rear brake system which probably prematurely wears out the rear brake pads. When the consumer confronted another service technician with this information, he stated, "well, we do replace a lot of them." Consumer felt the problem should have been disclosed before he purchased the vehicle.

At 7000 miles brake light came on. Took to dealer, replaced brake pads. At 13000 miles light came on again, dealer informed consumer front and rear brake pads needed to be replaced.
