My airbag light stays on after the recall was fixed

The contact owns a 2001 Honda Accord. While driving at any speed, the SRS indicator illuminated and remained lit while the air bag indicator flashed on and off. The dealer and manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2001 Honda Accord. The contact stated that the manufacturer failed to provide the remedy and part within a reasonable timeframe concerning NHTSA campaign number: 19V182000 (air bags). The contact had not called a dealer for an extended period of time per the notice stating that the part was not available. A case number was provided from the manufacturer and they were to follow-up with the contact to verify part availability. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

I reported this to your office over the phone and received a complaint number, but I lost it. This may be a duplicate report. The dealer fixed the problem; he installed a new driver airbag inflater. But: The red SRS warning light still came on. I spoke to them and he said that the warning light served as a warning for several functions. He said that would cost me $ $150 to determine the cause; plus parts; plus installation. I did not think that was right. The red light should not service multiple functions. It should have been included in the recall at no charge. While driving, I still have that red SRS red warning light. Your opinion?

Takata recall: Air bag passenegr side light turns on multiple times even a passnger is sitting on the front seat with proper restraint precautions. Electric: Brake light fuses keep blowing interlock ignition switch: The key can be disengaged/removed while gear is still in drive mode. Should not happen. Key should only be disengaged in park mode.

Takara recall. It was in motion down campwisdom rd in dallas tx 75249 heading towards cedar ridge rd. Last part I remember is stop sign by the nature school. I had just left my parents. Put my seat belt on at the stop sign I had forgot remembering at stop sign. Made a right turn on camp wisdom and just before passing power plant is last I remember. I looked down at the speedometer which read 35 mphtill it was like 3 hours later and everything just faded in and was in a car with my dad in passenger seat. When I became aware the next day I tried to remember what happened and I had out of body experience saw myself walking down the road just above it and what we depict as jesus pointing at me walking then I came to in car with my dad.went back to look at vehicle it hit a tree in front and the side. It was missing a tire from driver side rear. Air bags didn't deploy at all as should have. It was in the middle of a curve from what I can tell and tire popped off the rim. This was in 2013. No one was with me but one person witnessed it and during my unaware period let me use their phone to call my dad. They worked as receptionist at wycliffe linguistics center. I might be wrong on date but year is correct I can find out what day and month for sure later on because I had work done on it at motion auto my dad paid for it was a door windshield had to bend frame back as best as could I also sold this car later that year which I believe he junked it.

Tamara recall my son was killed in a car accident in his 2001 Honda Accord. His injuries were ruptured liver and spleen he was in emergency surgery for 6 hours before he passed away. The inside of his car wasn't damaged that much. It seems to me to sustain those injuries were probably the air bag didn't inflat properly.

The contact owned a 2001 Honda Accord. While driving 40 mph, the contact swerved to avoid another vehicle. The contact lost control and crashed into a fire hydrant. No air bags deployed. The contact sustained broken bones to the chest and right knee, and injuries to the right side of the head. The contact was hospitalized for over six months. The vehicle was destroyed. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed by the police department to a salvage lot. The dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. The VIN and failure mileage were unknown.

SRS light stays on, it is apparent from googling that a lot of people have this problem, there is a lot of information on turning off the SRS light, but I feel that's unsafe.

NHTSA recall number: 15V-320 I recently purchased a 2001 Honda Accord that has an airbag from a 2002 Honda Accord. The 2001 model does not have the current Honda airbag recall but the 2002 model does. The VIN for the 2002 model is [xxx]. Honda refused to replace the recalled airbag.
