Accord LX

I want my air bag fixed due to previous recalls that I didn't get to repair. And my check engine light won't go off even after repairs of catalytic converter installed.

Accord EX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 127,000 miles

The mechanic couldn't figure it out. It said emission leak but yet it was looked over and the problem wasn't found. It already had a transmission replaced @ 66,000. I bought it used so who knows what had happened in the almost 30,000 miles? I've had issues pretty much from the beginning, there was always something that I ended up dishing out my credit card for and the best parts are when the warranty doesn't cover them!!!

Accord

  • Automatic transmission
  • 195,000 miles

I have a 2002 Honda Accord with 195k miles, I bought it whit 52k miles. In the last 2 years the check engine light started to come up way to frequently and every time it will come up, I will take to the mechanic. The mechanic replaced the spark plugs, timing belt, valves and I almost certain some other thing too in the past 2 years. But the biggest problem is that the car burns oil like crazy, every 1000 miles the engine light comes on and as soon as i add 1 or 2 quarts of oil, the light goes off, it has become a pain, I thought I could drive this car at leas to 50k miles more, but the oil burning is increasing. It doesn't leak oil, so I don't know where is going. I dont know what else to do :(

Accord EX 2.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

Fortunately, my state inspection for my vehicle was in March and I passed but according to the manual and my mechanic, the car would not pass inspection with this emissions issue. This is the first time I've ever experienced this kind of problem with a car and I am told that the repair is extremely costly although undetermined at this point.

Accord EX 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 33,200 miles

I have a 2002 Honda Accord which I love. In 2007 the check engine light came on so I took it to the Honda dealership. They said my Lo-Jack caused it, so they reset and I was on my way. No more trouble until Aug 12, 2010 and now the check engine light is back on, this time I'm not taking it in, I'll just live with it. My car only has 55,000 miles on it and we checked all the other things it could be. By the way back in early 2002 when I bought the car it was Honda that sold me the Lo-Jack. Yes that's right they did, I rechecked my sales receipt on the car. Anyone have any suggestions how to permanently stop this problem
