The emissions sensor thing breaking is fairly serious only because it makes you "check engine" light come on....and it will not go off unless you fix it. Thus, you would never know there is another problem with the engine. It's an expensive fix, even @ Firestone, it was $180. This is for CA residents to pass their emissions tests! So, for the rest of the world, this is an unnecessary, expensive addition to the car.
