Accord Type S

  • Manual transmission
  • 119,000 miles

I bought my car in May 2011, a honda accord , 2354 cc, Type S, year 2003.. Soon after a slight vibration to the left of the car, mainly from the pssenger wheel developed. Took it to Honda dealer and after two test drives, concluded, either shocks absorber or track rod ends. Changed both, to no avail. Changedlink rod, no success. Changed pins to steering rack and to date the vibration still persist nad is getting worst by the day. Honda dealer wasn't to any help though they call themselves 'specialist' The car vibrates more to the left side, from within the wheel/hub and alongside the whole body.Though suffering from this problem, my car has done 119000 miles and is still in very good condition.

If anyone has a solution to this problem , Please let me know.

Thank U.

Accord EX-L 2.4L

  • Manual transmission
  • 170,000 miles

Started as a vibration, replaced two wheels. Had a mechanic check car, over a quarter of an inch of play in half shafts. The long shaft carrier bearing seems to be the only thing holding everything from coming apart. There is EXCESSIVE play where the transaxle shaft goes into the transaxle. It's an extremely well maintained HONDA, it only has 170,000 miles. It should not be having this kind of problems, this is my 5th Honda. Is it my last?
