My vehicle died going up a small hill for no reason.... like it stalled but I had to restart the vehicle... also the stereo doesn't work I think it could be electrical or the ignition switch" seen on youtube I'm not the only one that this is happening to. It stalls almost and doesn't propel in fifth at I have to down shift and go back to 5th and tei again... sometimes it works other times I try 2 or three time to keep it accelerating. The hill thing was scary. What did it mean"

While driving the speed limit to take my children to school this morning 02-18-2016, my Honda was in the last gear but suddenly downshifted into a power gear causing the car to jerk. My children and I were almost rear ended but the F-150 truck behind is swerved to keep from bitting us. I was very afraid also cause the seat belt around my children tightened to the point where my baby boy started crying cause it was like it choked him. After dropping them off, I got to the stop light which is on a hill and the car would not move. Put in park and cut off and car then went into gear but did not change fears to where it reved up the rpms. Cruised down hill to my home and decided to back up and the car would it even back up. I would like to know what can be done cause there seems to be a problem with Honda and all the can tell me is that there is no recall I. my car except for the power steering. I did research and there are hundreds of complaints about similar problems if not the same.

August: 1st. Driving home shifted into 1st gear to go from a stop light. Car hesitated, began to go real slow even when trying to accelerate. Pushed gas pedal all the way to floor car did not go any faster. RPM were revving up as if the car was going faster. Went into 2nd gear....the same. Check engine and tcs light was on. Turned off car 15min later the tcs light was off but check engine light was still on. Stayed on for about 2 days. Got codes check, it stated it was all misfires. 300-306. Reset. September: On the 15 fwy South on a Sunday in September with my mother and kids going around 70mph in fast lane. Car then lost power instantly. Went down to 40mph car began to jerk and sputter. Had to put on hazard light and get off fwy as safe as possible. Very dangerous!!!!! stop and called aaa. Engine codes read again. Codes were: PO300, PO3001, PO302, PO303, PO304, PO305, PO306, .P2138. Shut off car waited 30mins and car drove fine and tcs light went off, the check engine light went off later. Took car to Honda specialist and they said it was the misfire of 1st coil spring. Got that replaced along with fuel injection cleaning and oil change. November-January: Car running sluggish. Honda dealer says nothing is wrong. Taking off sluggish. Check engine light flashes on and off from time to time. Feb 13th driving home on 210 fwy East at 8:30P. Going 70mph in 6the gear cruising and car instantly looses power again to 30 mph. Making cars swerve around me. Had to pull off fwy very slow with hazard lights on. Car began to sputter and jerk. Feb16. Check engine and tcs light turned on while stopped at stop light. Car lost power and slowly turned into intersection. Pulled over. This is now becoming a safety hazard for my son and I and no one can give us answers and keep fixing things that aren't fixing the problem. Please help!

My 2004 Honda Accord ex V6 has traction control. All of a sudden the tc light came on and pushing the switch it will not go out. When you start up the car the orange triangle stays lit and then when you are driving the tc comes on and stays on. Brought it to a mechanic and he put it on the diagnostic machine but he didn't have the Honda code. I called a Honda dealership and they "release" the code information and I have to bring it into a Honda dealer at $186 for the first hour just to run a test!!! the car does not even move in the snow here in the northeast without the tc. I heard that the Honda Accord was having issues with the traction control system.
