i took my car to the dealer to do a routine tune-up/service on it. after i got it back, the gas mileage went from 30 hwy/26 city to 21 all the time. i told them NOT to flash the computer eprom, and they claim they didn't, but i have no way of checking, b/c the other honda dealers in the area are just as bad on service, so i can't trust them to check it.
the problem is, after that 'service/tune-up', i checked the air filter and other components and they were UNTOUCHED: the air filter was caked with black gunk and dirt; the plugs were not even removed/checked; the oil and filter weren't changed; NOTHING was done to it - except they hooked it up to the computer and gave me the readout. they deny not servicing it and they deny doing anything wrong to it
the offending party was Regal Honda, in Lakeland, Florida. I want to fix the car so it gets the original mileage, but don't know who to go to, or what is broke, nor how to fix it. anybody have a similar problem and find a solution for it?
