Accord EX 4 cyl

I have a five year old PAID for Honda Accord that I should NOT have to replace a transmission in.... I bought this car brand new just 5 short years ago and I have taken very good care of my car. Being told that AMERICAN made--NEWER Honda's are not made as well and that a pin in my differential shifter broke poking a hole in my transmission and that this is a common problem does NOT make me feel any better. If this is a flaw in the newer honda's then HONDA should have to recall it and fix the problem at NO cost to me. I bought a HONDA because of their reputation as being dependable and lasting so why I am having to replace the transmission already???? My sister has a 97 and has never had to do anything to her car so there seems to be some kind of flaw with the NEW "American" made Honda's. Maybe you should go back to foreign made Honda's if this is what happens when manufactured in America!!!!
